Expressing emotions are easier than writing it all down. I have been very straightforward in my approach towards others, whether it is people I am close to or not. I say things how I see it and it has backfired on me on a number of occasions. In my previous relationship, I leaned on my partner a little too much emotionally and opened up about my feeling more than usual. Later, when things soured between us, he made our personal conversations and feelings public which really made me mad. My secrets were not earth-shattering but whatever was said to him was said in confidence and later he used the same conversations to humiliate me.
